Tl;dr added options menu

+ black fade lifts again after an intra-scene teleport
+ stackable items don't double when you pick them up

New content:
+ you can select from ten wonderful volume levels for various game audio types
+ game journalist mode (no dying allowed)
+ enable/disable analog jump

Gameplay Changes:
+ wallclimb detection is more generous

Visual Changes:
+ you can turn on vsync if you want

Internal refactors:
~ pulled the Count field out of the Item base class
